Rick Malter, Ph.D Hair Mineral Analysis
In 1971, Dr. Malter
earned a Ph.D. in Education and School Psychology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. He earned his M.A.
degree in 1964 from the Committee on Human Development at the University of Chicago. Until he moved to Arizona in 2001, he was a licensed nutrition
counselor as well as a licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois. He
wrote two books with Rosalie Malter, M.A.
Shrinking the “Judge”: Freeing the
Inner Child and an e-book How to Free
the Inner Child: A Path to Joy and Empowerment.
In February, 2003, Dr. Malter published his book The Strands of
Health: A Guide to Understanding Hair Mineral Analysis. For the past 30 years,
Dr. Malter has specialized in working with hair tissue mineral analysis (TMA) in his nutrition counseling work. He has
written and published several articles on hair TMA. He continues to do research, writes
articles and publishes, gives seminars and consults on hair TMA.

Rosalie Malter, M.A., RYT-500 Yoga Instruction, Life and Health Coaching, Active Parenting Program
Rosalie Malter received a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy in 1961 from the University of Illinois and an M.A. degree in
Counseling in 1983 from Roosevelt University. She has been
teaching yoga since 1985. She teaches a gentle style of hatha yoga and
also teaches meditation classes in yoga and Buddhist styles. She has been
on the faculty of 2 yoga teacher training schools in Cottonwood and Sedona. She is registered
with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-500 (senior level teacher). Rosalie is a retired
counselor and the co-author of a book, "Shrinking the Judge," in
which she teaches people effective techniques for reducing self-criticism and
stress and helps them remove the obstacles to their goals. She and her husband
Rick offer workshops on reducing inner stress using these techniques. She
sees clients for Life & Health Coaching, helping them find their personal
power and manifest their dreams. In addition, Rosalie is certified to teach the

Carol Oveross, RYT, Yoga Instructor & Artist
Carol Oveross has had a Yoga practice for over 27 years and has been
teaching
her gentle Hatha yoga classes to all levels (Adults, Chair Yoga,
Children,
pre-natal and post-natal) across the Verde Valley in Arizona for four years. Carol is trained by
Integrative Yoga Therapy (IYT) and is credentialed by the Yoga Alliance as a
Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). She has a two-year certification in CPR and
Automated External Defibrillation (AED). Because of her specialized training
with Healthways, Inc. she is certified to instruct gentle "Chair
Yoga" classes at various gyms in the Verde Valley. Carol has a gentle, nurturing approach to

Jennifer Schauffler-Vircsik

Jennifer Schauffler-Vircsik has an extensive background in dance and movement, holistic body therapies, meditation and healing practices. She has been a performance artist and teacher of movement for more than 25 years. Arin Thrine
James Tree-Gilmore LMT, CSTJames Tree-Gilmore is a Cranio-Sacral
Therapist trained by the Upledger Institute and Dr. T. Feeney, DO, an
internationally known instructor of Cranial Osteopathy. Jim is a member of the
International Association of Health Practitioners. He is an instructor of Manual Percussion Therapy, and teaches health
practitioners this modality around the world. He is a teacher of Natural
Spirituality and author of the book, The Way of the Sacred Pipe. He is a Spiritual
Adviser (Minister) for a federally-recognized Native church based in Pipestone,
MN and has also served on the board of advisers for the E.T. Seton Institute in Santa Fe. James has given presentations around the
world and conducted ceremonies to help restore the sacred circle of life with
powerful effectiveness. He recently gave a presentation about indigenous
prophecies and current world events at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna, as well as at several universities. He has
the honor to be the caretaker of the United Nations Turtle Pipe, a Sacred Pipe
created for the UN by his Elder, Adam Fortunate Eagle in the 1970's. This Pipe

Margaret Walden, LCSW, ATR

Before moving to Cornville, AZ in 2006, Margaret Walden lived in Manhattan, NYC. She attended New York University and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (1985) and then her Master of Arts in Art Therapy in 1991. She has been registered as an Art Therapist since 1994. Margaret received a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia in 1997. She went on to do a post-graduate residential training at the Community Counseling Clinic in Atlanta where she received two years of specialized training with trauma survivors. Margaret was licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in 2001 and has been in private practice since that time. She works with individuals concerning such issues as depression, personality disorders, survivors of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence, trauma, anxiety, family of origin issues, attachment and intimacy, gender issues and dissociative identity disorder. Woolsey – Yoga
Sara Woolsey has been a passionate volunteer for The Art of Living Foundation NGO for over 10 years. She leads dynamic Sri Sri Yoga classes and courses, and helps organize breathing and meditation workshops. Her Yoga classes are very sweet and nourishing. Her Yoga classes always inlude discussion of practical yogic philosophy, pranayama breath-work, invigorating asanas and stretches, and a deep relaxation with guided meditations. Danielle Vorves - Yoga
Danielle Vorves is a talented yoga instructor in the Verde Valley. While she has been a serious student of yoga for over a decade, she also travels the world, and is a talented gardener and wine-maker. She started teaching at The Healing Arts Center in February of 2009, after completing her 200-hour certification in Hatha Yoga and Pranayama at Yandara Yoga Institute, located in Todo Santos Baja Sur Mexico, a certified yoga alliance school. Her classes are a perfect blend of beginner and advanced yoga, where you can follow at your own pace.
